We are grateful for such a wonderful crew this season.  Everyone is stepping up their game to help bring in the harvest and keep us attending all markets while Seth recuperates from his injury.  Seth’s folks have tirelessly contributed to our operation for years and continue to do so with additional commitments through this time.  Our longest term employee and farmily member, Karen Thorpe, is gracefully managing the fields and the crew and being eyes for Seth.  Our crew is fantastic this year.  We are so blessed to have such a dedicated group of hard workers keeping Weathervane flowing.  We have also received so much help in the fields from working members and volunteers.  We are so appreciative and hope you will help us appreciate these folks if you have the chance to at the farmers market.

Seth is doing well and seeing improvements in mobility.  He is still not able to bear any weight in his leg and is spending his days reclining and keeping on top of business administration and fielding questions from the field. We will travel to Denver Monday where he’ll get another evaluation and hopefully a cast.  It will be at least another 2 weeks before he is on his feet.  He is still experiencing some significant pain and discomfort, but is amazingly patient with the process of recovery.
