It’s been a warm and windy week here at the farm. Thanks to our hardworking crew the weeds are at the point of being very well managed. The lettuce section above was especially challenging and now looks unencumbered and ready to take off. The cucumber crop in the high tunnel is all planted and strung up on the trellis. Hopefully we’ll have an abundance of cukes in the next 4-6 weeks. Broccoli, salad turnips, scallions, and Napa cabbage will be the next delicious offerings to appear in the shares in the coming weeks. We have nice consistent stands of carrots and beets that are looking good and will be in the shares in July.
