Spring Tilling and a Hope for Rain

I turned compost and Planters II into the garden today.  I started with the disk but it wasn’t incorporating the compost well enough so I switched to the Maschio tiller.  We could really use some precipitation now.  The mountains are white with snow but it is dry as a bone down in the valley.  The creek is still fairly low and we are having a little trouble getting enough water into the ditches.  A coupe of the diversions silted up last fall and winter.  I need a backhoe or a team of Outward Bounders with shovels.
