Farming Practices-Community Involvement Agriculture is not an isolated practice at Weathervane Farm. We market our produce directly to local consumers providing healthy food options to our community.  In an age when the average head of lettuce has traveled 1500 miles from the farm to your dining table, Weathervane Farm produce provides local food security.  Our community is also invited to be involved in the production of their food through direct interaction with the daily farm activities.  We are committed to providing an opportunity to share our knowledge with people interested in growing food through internships, as well as working memberships and volunteer opportunities.
