  Farmers Market   Farming Practices-Community Involvement

At Weathervane Farm we hope to grow more than vegetables. We view the community that develops around our farm as another important product. We believe that with a directed effort to cultivate community we will receive the bounty of a long and durable relationship. We are a public farm where people come to enjoy and connect with the land, the animals, and their food source.

Seasonal celebrations are another important component of our community relationships. Celebrations provide us all with an opportunity to strengthen our connections and revel in the beauty and sustenance of our farm community. We aim to have two outdoor celebrations this year with a potluck meal, music, and tours of the farm; one early in the summer and the other early in the fall.
