Education The role of education is an important part of our vision at Weathervane Farm.  With agriculture becoming less common as a career and life style, we feel it is important to preserve the knowledge of past generations as well as to forge ahead finding new and innovative solutions to sustain our communities.  We offer opportunities to share our knowledge of food production through internships, volunteers and educational programs.  Getting our hands dirty in the garden empowers us to reconnect with the land.  Cultivating the crops keeps our minds and bodies active.  Taking part in the harvest helps us recognize the seasonality of food.  Our goal is that Weathervane Farm exemplifies the strength of diversity that is ever present in our lives and inspires new friendships, recipes and endless reasons to enjoy the world around us.
