About The Farm - Land The garden meadow, situated within the Cottonwood Meadows New Urban project, has had many relationships with farmers through the generations. In the early 1900s the area was part of the production that earned Buena Vista the title of lettuce capital of the United States. Our goal at Weathervane Farm is to develop our own relationship with this land and return to these agricultural roots of nearly one hundred years ago, establishing a tighter distribution to serve the people of this valley and region.
